I just bought a Wii for my son for Christmas, and for the most part it seems to function just fine. The one problem I've noticed is that some games don't respond well to control input. Golf is a perfect example. Sometimes my swing does not register. When playing miniature golf it won't let me swing softly. I either end up having to hit too hard, or not at all. However, I've found that the sensing seems to work just fine with the vast majority of our games, such as tennis, basketball, Madden, etc. So my question is, is there something wrong with my sensor? Once, there was a preacher who was an avid golfer. Every chance he could get, he would be on the golf course swinging away. It was an obsession. One Sunday was a picture-perfect day for golfing. Hello. I play golf for my high school team. And i am a reletively higher handicaper. I would say 105 on 18 holes. Anyway i own a Taylormade r7 and i have some money to update my clubs. What club would do the best for me? A Callaway ft-iq (square driver) or a Taylormade r9. I like the stability of the callaway but the r9 would correct alot of my slice. I have a long history with this girl and basically we're close and people tell me she's pretty, but guys tell me she's not that hot. The only thing is she is perfect to me and everything that anyone else might say is a flaw I look at like it's the cutest thing in the world. Golf-hard tight fairway?

My issue is that the iron (5,6,7) bounces off the ground,which opens the face,and a low line drive wormburner to the left results.(Iam a lefty) This alternates with a thin shot from mental fear of club bouncing. From a soft/slightly grassy lie my swing and shot is absolutely perfect. Ive looked up tips for this and many are different/opposite. They say take a slow smooth swing,but this seems to weaken the club and makes the clubface bounce. When I try to put some downward force into it,a bounce results or I hit it thin. Do you feel that luck plays is a bigger factor in baseball than any other major sport?

It seems that in any other major sport (football, basketball, hockey, soccer, golf?), if an athlete makes a perfect or near-perfect play (perfect pass, perfect catch, perfect shot), the outcome is going to be good 99.9% of the time. But in baseball, you can make a perfect pitch that can be blooped for a hit, or a perfect swing that crushes the ball right into a glove for an out. The luck factor just seems bigger than in other sports. It's one of the reasons why I love baseball so much, and gives it that "aura and mystique". "Aura and Mystique appearing nightly." LOL. Hi. I am a the only freshman golfer on my team and i got in early without having to go through tryouts because the coach saw I was pretty decent (School is Valencia High School in Placentia, CA). My team last years number 7 varsity player would shoot 6 over regularly. I shoot an 82 or 83 (5 and 5/6 over per 9) in a typical 18 hole par 72 round while this person would probably shoot 84 or 85 (6/7 6/7 over per 9). I however don't do great at tournaments and predict I will shoot a 6 at varsity try outs. I chip better and hit further than every JV player and some varsity players.
